Develops complex layouts and drawings using a CAD program (Solidworks / Autocad / Pro-Engineer ) involving originality, advanced drafting techniques and showing practical mechanical and fabrication techniques with engineering assistance.
Coordinates changes on prototype and production equipment drawings.
Creates design products from sketches, schematics and verbal instruction.
Assists in the preparation and incorporation of ECO's.
Coordinates work of other drafting personnel by assignment of work verifying that drafting practices, cost standards and schedule requirement objectives are met.
Capable to direct a team of drafters or designers to complete an assigned project as assigned.
Ability to check degrees of engineering drawings to determine proper fit and function, correctness and completeness of information and conformance to standards as requires.
